What you can hire me for.

Statistical consulting, predictive modeling, and interactive analytics — on a project or short-retainer basis. Every engagement is scoped, documented, and built to be defended in front of the people who depend on it.

Practice areas

What I do.

Statistical analysis & modeling

Experimental design, hypothesis testing, regression, Bayesian inference, survival analysis. The right method for the question, communicated in plain language.

Predictive modeling & ML

Classification, forecasting, and risk scoring with proper validation. Models that hold up under audit — not just on the holdout set.

Interactive analytics & dashboards

R Shiny, Quarto, and lightweight web tools that turn an analysis into a self-service decision aid.

Reproducible reporting

R, Python, and SQL pipelines and reports that document assumptions, version cleanly, and rerun reliably quarter after quarter.

Statistical training & curriculum

Workshops and applied curricula for analytics teams, faculties, and students. I help people move from "I ran the test" to "I can defend the choice."

Independent methodology review

Outside review of in-house statistical work ahead of a leadership decision, audit, or external release. Tight written feedback, no hand-holding.

Engagement

How an engagement runs.

  • 1. Scoping call
A 30-minute conversation about the question, the data, the timeline, and the decision the analysis needs to support. No charge, no obligation.
  • 2. Written proposal
A short document covering approach, deliverables, milestones, fee, and what's explicitly out of scope. You sign or pass.
  • 3. Project or retainer
Fixed-fee for bounded work. Monthly retainer for ongoing support across a quarter or year. Every billable hour ties back to a deliverable.
  • 4. Handoff
Source code, documentation, and a written debrief. Your team owns the result and can rerun it without me.
